Teddy Bears and Bhakti Yoga

リラックマ in コトブキヤ

The undeniable appeal of hugging a teddy bear or other cute and cuddly stuffed animal is significant evidence to prove the fundamental premise that the supreme spiritual bliss is available only in Bhakti-yoga. Why? Because it demonstrates quite plainly that it is even more enjoyable to give love than to receive it. Even the opportunity to love something that can’t return your feelings at all is quite pleasant and attractive.
